Okay, so for completing the "rank 1" of each country of missions you get skill points.

In order of country sets the number of skill points you get is 3,5,6,6,6,6

The minimum amount of energy required to do each country set in order is

98, 126, 172, 224, 508, 748

(which rounds up to 100, 130, 180, 230, 510, 750)

I did a basic excel calculation to determine that you should ONLY COMPLETE THE FIRST 4 COUNTRY SETS (get only 230 energy)  you will get the maximum number of EXTRA skill points, (which is 7 btw, (230-100)/10 = 13..... (3+5+6+6)=20....... 20-13 = 7!! If you dop any more country sets, you will have a net skill point in the negative. because you will spend more getting energy than you will for completing rank 1

Interesting calculation, Schellax.  I never would have thought to check.

I already have 450 energy because when I was a newbie I thought energy was the best thing to do with my skillpoints. (forehead slap)

Interestingly, looks like that leaves me the same 4 tabs.

What really burns me is the rank2 rewards for tabs 1 and 2.  How useless?  5% more damage during an attack?  Why? So you can attack less often before the opponent goes into retreat?  Increased chance of loot?  What for?  And the new loot has upkeep costs to boot!  No thanks.
